Board of Directors

Farm Credit of Ness City The Farm Credit of Ness City board consists of seven members. Directors are responsible for representing the best interests of the organization and its borrowers.

Customers can impact the business by electing the board of directors who set policy.

The board meets each month to review operating results. Loan-making decisions are solely the responsibility of management and the lending staff, and board reports typically do not contain specific member names or financial information.

Keith Kennedy CHAIRMAN	2014 since 1999	Mr. Kennedy owns and operates a dry land and irrigated farming operation and is a stockman. He holds a B.S. in Accounting.
Marion Ochs VICE CHAIRMAN	2013 since 1986	Mr. Ochs owns and operates a dry land and irrigated farming operation. He attends the First Southern Baptist Church in Dodge City and teaches a 5th and 6th grade Sunday school class.
Jeannine Mondero APPOINTED DIRECTOR AUDIT COMMITTEE CHIAR	2014 April 2008	The Farm Credit Act of 1987 provided that a director with no Farm Credit affiliation be appointed to each Board. Mrs. Mondero was appointed to a three-year term on the Board in April 2008. She holds as MBA from Fort Hays State University and is a Certified Public Accountant with the firm of Adams, Brown, Beran and Ball, CHTD.
William Briggs	2012 since 2000	Mr. Briggs owns and operates a farming and livestock operation. He also serves on the Board of Gove County Conservation Service Board and as and Elder and Treasurer of the Bible Fellowship Church in Dighton. He is an American Legion and VFW member. Mr. Briggs was in the U.S. Navy and is a Vietnam veteran.
Richard Deines COMPENSATION COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN	2013 since 1992	Mr. Deines owns and operates a farming and livestock operation. He is a member of the American Legion and VFW. He was in the U.S. Army and is a Vietnam veteran.
E Vance Shay, Jr. COMPENSATION COMMITTEE VICE CHAIRMAN	2012 since 2006	Mr. Shay owns and operates a dry land and irrigated farming operation while also managing a cow-calf operation. He is actively involved in the daily operations of his family owned farm, Shay Farms.
Howard Boese AUDIT COMMITTEE VICE CHAIRMAN	2014 since 2008	Mr. Boese owns and operates a dry land farming operation and is a stockman. Past Board service includes 12 years on the Board of USD #304 (Bazine) and is a past Supervisor of the Ness County Conservation District Board.

Audit Committee

Our Audit Committee is comprised of all members of the Board of Directors and is established according to the provisions of the Audit Committee Charter.

Compensation Committee

Our Compensation Committee is comprised of all members of the Board of Directors and is established according to the provisions of the Compensation Committee Charter.

Our Audit Committee and Board of Directors has adopted a Code of Ethics for senior management of the association.
