Inside out chocolate chip cookies
Servings: About 54 Cookies
INGREDIENTS
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp salt
1 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup shortening
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In medium bowl, mix flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; set aside.

In a large bowl, mix together the sugars, butter, shortening, vanilla and eggs with electric mixer at medium speed. Reduce speed to low and add dry ingredients; beat until well combined. Fold in white chocolate chips and nuts by hand.

Drop dough by round tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until set. Cool slightly on the cookie sheet, about 2 minutes, then transfer to wire racks with a spatula to finish cooling.
